Our client, experts in the provision of first-class property management services seek to employ a Maintenance/Facilities Manager in Cyprus. The Maintenance/Facilities Manager will assist the General Manager in leading a team to manage the delivery of assigned works to commercial + residential properties nationwide, being the key point of contact for the maintenance operatives, sub-contractors & clients. The responsibilities will include preparing quotations, site/work appraisal, re-active + pro-active maintenance scheduling, contract services, purchasing of material equipment & supplies. You will be responsible for the management of a team of up to 15 staff across multiple sites.

People Management – manage & coach the team

Help develop and sustain a high-quality well motivated team ensuring high staff morale, trust and work ethics

Assist in mentoring and enabling Training & Development of team members
Client/Stakeholder Management
Deliver excellent customer service to meet stakeholders/client’s expectations
Build and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders &/or client and be comfortable working across all levels
Monitor procedures to ensure client’s expectations are conveyed and worked upon
Procurement & contractor Management
Manage multiple contractors to deliver services on time and within budget
Problem solving – provide quality cost-efficient solutions to the client
Ensure that all contracts are professionally delivered at the right cost and in line with the company ethics
Health & Safety Management – Implement and manage safety procedures to ensure the provision of a safe working environment
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
Site Operations Management
Implement Industry Best Practice operations
Seek ways to reduce costs and improve operational standards
Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets

Candidate Profile:

At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities, or construction related filed
Experience of working in fast-paced environment
Knowledge of health & safety requirements + building regulations
Staff Management
An understanding of basic technical aspects of property (Roofing, Carpentry, Plastering, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Landscaping, Cleaning)
Capacity to understand and interpret contracts
Demonstrated superior people management skills – ability to lead team effectively, train them well, and promote open, constructive and collaborative relationships at all levels
Strong communicator – Good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills (English & Greek)
Demonstrates proactive & professional approach to customer service
Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters daily
